here are some pictures i took of my packaging projects from this semester. i have a bunch more that i edited and am putting on a cd for my prof, but here’s just a handful so you can seee.

so here’s my magazine. just click through them because tumblr has this weird system and yeah. i didn’t post the back cover, it’s just an ad. everything is completely done by me. i obviously didn’t take the pictures, make the ads, or write the articles, but i found and put them together. which isn’t as easy as it sounds. and mind you, we were given no templates or structures or anything, so i didn’t just slap stuff into a grid and call it a day haha. i’m just really glad it’s finally done.

the assignment was to redesign a magazine and change the demographic and style and whatnot. so i took martha stewart living and changed it to be for the younger, 20ish crowd. so it’s ‘martha stewart for the contemporary young woman’…. yeah.

sorry you can’t actually read the articles because of the screen cap. and yes i used tv character names for the bylines.

i miss collaging. i made these high school. we had a journal book and every term we had 20 pages or so due. they were so much fun.
